Costa Rica, Tamarindo @ Casa Pipilacha 4 of 4

We made advance arrangements for a private chef to come to the house and make a few meals for us during our stay (one breakfast, one lunch and one dinner spread out every other day or so).  It was probably the best part of our trip and if we ever go back, we'll be having this treat on a daily basis!  The food was a hundred times better than the few restaurants we tried in town.  Plus, it was just perfect being able to experience 5 star dining in the comforts of "home".  I'd highly recommend Private Chef Jay of Tamarindo!

Bacon, Avocado salsa and Tomato with Cheddar Omelet

Lamb Burger ~ Ground Lamb burger stuffed with feta cheese grilled and served on a toasted roll with tzatziki sauce, tabouleh, lettuce and limon pita chips.

Ian enjoying his view, and giant burger.

We both agreed this dinner appetizer was one of the best things we'd ever eaten in our entire lives!
Prime N.Y. Strip Crostini ~ Seared Prime N.Y. Strip sliced and served over a French baguette crostini with a potato foam and chimichurri sauce.

Fresh baked bread

Tomato-Basil Salad ~ Thin sliced vine ripened tomatoes served with fresh basil, feta creme and a white balsamic glaze.

Charmoula Pork ~ Cumin rubbed Pork tenderloin served over a sweet potato puree with apple relish and Charmoula (Spanish pesto).

Espresso Cheesecake with Dulce De Leche and toasted Coconut
